Mr Makubung was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court in year 2006 and has been practising as such ever since his admission and has 20 years of experience as practising attorney and conveyancer.
He holds an LLB degree, Diploma in Deeds Registration, Post Graduate Certificate in Corporate Law, Post Graduate Certificate in Legislation drafting and IRCA Global Certificate.
He is a certified Court mediator and corporate investigator.
He has acted as both a member and adhoc chairperson of the Gauteng’s Township Board, as well as on the appeals committee for both the Council for Built Environment (CE)and the South African Council for Architectural Professional (SACAP).
He possesses expertise in mining law and provides assistance to mining companies and local communities in negotiating agreements and organizing business arrangements. Additionally, he aids in overseeing Social Labour Plans and SocioEconomic Development Policies.
